No Limit Texas Holdem Games
No Limit cash games are designated by their blinds. If you are playing in a 5/10 No Limit game, then then blinds are $5 (small blind) and $10 (big blind). Each bet must be at least the size of the big blind, but can be any amount up to the amount of chips that you have on the table. If you want to bet everything you have, you simply declare, "All In". There is no bigger thrill than telling an opponent that you are "All In". When you are All In, you cannot put any more money into the pot, nor can you lose any additional money.
No Limit games that are 2/5 and lower usually have both minimum and maximum buy-ins. The minimum is usually about 100 small blinds, while the the maximum buy-in is usually in the 100-150 big blind range. Each casino establishes minimum and maximum buy-ins for each game, so check with the floor person to see what the specific minimum and maximum buy-ins are for any particular game. When you get to the mid-level No Limit games, the buy-in usually has a minimum, but can be upcapped. Essentially, you buy in for at least the minimum, but you can bring as mush as you want. I have seen people buy into a 5/10 No Limit game for $5000 and have seen people buy into a 10/25 no limit game for $90,000.
Common No Limit games include:
1/2
2/5
