Hand Rankings
In any type of poker, there certain combinations of cards beat others. Here are the hand rankings with the best (Royal Flush) at the top, and the worst (High card) at the bottom.

| Royal Flush Royal Flush contains five cards (A,K,Q,J,T) in sequence, all of the same suit. |

| Straight Flush Straight Flush contains five cards in sequence, all of the same suit. |

| Four of a Kind (Quads) Four of a Kind contains four cards of one rank (one of each suit), and an unmatched card. |

| Full House (Boat or Full Boat) Full House contains three matching cards of one rank, plus two matching cards of another rank. |

| Flush Flush contains five cards of the same suit, not in rank sequence. |

| Straight Straight contains five cards of sequential rank, of varying suits. |

| Three of a Kind (Set or Trips) Three of a Kind contains three cards of the same rank, plus two unmatched cards. |

| Two Pair Two pair contains two cards of the same rank, plus two cards of another rank (that match each other but not the first pair), plus one unmatched card. |

| High Card High Card is a when no two cards have the same rank, the five cards are not in sequence, and the five cards are not all the same suit. |
