From a late position, you can really start to open up your playing requirements. If there has not been a raise, you can play any pocket pair, suited connectors down to 54s and one-gap suited connectors (example: 8 6 suited) down to about 64s.
You can raise with pocket pairs down to about 88 or sometimes 77. If there is an early position raise, remember the hands that they SHOULD be raising with. If there have been 3-4 callers, then you can call with your suited connectors and small to mid pocket pairs. Be careful with high-cards like KT and AJ when calling a raise from an early position. You are likely to be dominated.
