Shootout Tournaments
Shootout tournaments can be a lot of fun. To sum up a shootout, you play a series of single table tournaments. You cannot advance to the second tournament unless you win the first single-table tournament.
Example: You have 100 players that are going to play in a shootout. You arrange them in 10 tables of 10 players. Each table plays until there is a winner. In other words, there is NO balancing of tables done as there is in a regular multi-table tournament. When all ten tables have crowned a winner, then the 10 winners all sit at the final table and play each other.
